Here at Ruff Woof's I offer a wide range of grooming services for your pet. I am flexible with appointments as all grooming sessions are carried out on a one to one basis, unless the owner has more than one dog being groomed.

Great care and attention is given to your dog whilst in my care.

Every dog is given time to settle in before grooming starts, including a trip round the garden if needed.

All grooming sessions start with a "pre-groom check". This is to look for any abnormalities such as lumps/bumps, warts/skin tags, sore spots, broken skin/skin complaints, ear infections, mouth problems, fleas, ticks etc.

You will be informed of all findings regardless of how minor they may be and advised accordingly.

All breeds are welcome regardless of size & temperament.

Young, nervous & timid dogs welcome.

If your dog requires a muzzle, please bring this with you.

Grooming times vary depending on the breed and what they are having done. (At drop-off/collection I will give you a rough guide as to how long your dog will be with me, if the coat is in bad condition and is taking longer than expected I will call you to let you know). I will also call you 30 minutes before your dog is ready to give you a pick-up time unless I am returning your dog to you.

I use Groomers products, every dog has a "pre-groom check, at this point I assess the condition of skin & coat to select a shampoo suitable.  

If your dog suffers from a skin allergy and has a shampoo prescribed by your vet please bring this with you so your dog can be shampooed in it. Otherwise, I will use our own range of hypoallergenic products. 

All dogs are hand dried using a Combi blaster dryer, no cabinet dryers or cages are used. 

The grooming room is fully equipped with modern equipment & products. 

Grooming advice is also offered to help keep your dogs coat in good condition. 

Please ensure all dogs coming for grooming are on a secure lead & collar and have been toileted before.

Full Groom Includes:

Brushing out, bathing & drying, nails trimmed, ears cleaned & plucked, teeth brushed, trimming or clipping.

Please note: an extra charge may be applied for de-matting/knot removal or a heavily compacted coat, these would require extra time spending on them.

 

Top N Tail Includes:

Brushing out, bathing & drying, nails trimmed, eyes cleared, ears cleaned & plucked, teeth brushed, arm pits & genital areas cleared, feet trimmed.

Please note: an extra charge may be applied for de-matting/knot removal or a heavily compacted coat, these would require extra time spending on them.

All grooms are finished off with doggie cologne.

Nail Trimming:

Nail trimming is included in a Full Groom & Top N Tail.

Some dogs can be uncooperative, aggressive or stressed during nail trimming, if this happens I WILL NOT continue with the nail trim.

These dogs may require nail trimming by your vet.

 

If your dog only needs Nail Trimming this is charged at £10 per dog.
